When people get dangerous and the police are called in, guns are drawn. Guns are an officer's best defense against a dangerous person. Unfortunately, guns can also kill.

Fifteen-year-old Tyler Cassidy was gunned down by police in December last year, killed. His mum wants the Victorian police to have what they've wanted for years; Tasers, stun guns.

They could have saved Tyler's life.

Did anyone else cry at the end when Michael asked Tyler's mum what the lipstick marks on Tyler's picture were about? To light a candle didn't start me off, but to hear she kisses the picture and says goodnight had me reaching for a tissue.
